The purpose of the Career Development Center at Saint John Baptist Church is to address issues in the Booker Washington Heights Community in Columbia, South Carolina, that leads to violence, crime, and hopelessness. We are implementing this by developing a well-planned and collaborative effort of bringing community organizations together to reach a common goal of education, empowering, and elevating families, youth and community.
